EcomFly lets you grow your online store with dropshipping – no warehouse, no upfront stock investment, and no need to pack parcels yourself.
You can handle the whole process completely online, using the built-in integration with wholesalers.
In this article, you'll find out exactly how dropshipping works in EcomFly – step by step.
Once you set up your EcomFly store, you’ll get access to a panel with ready-to-sell products and a list of wholesalers.
You can browse thousands of products from different categories, check their pricing, analyze trends, and pick the ones you want to sell right now.
You don't need a company or to order goods in advance – everything works in real time, just as dropshipping works.
Plus, in the product panel you get access to a bunch of wholesale suppliers that work with dropshipping – including those that don't require a business.
When you pick specific products from the shop panel – now you just add them to your store with one click and tweak their price, settings, and description.
Next, the customer picks a product, adds it to the cart, enters their shipping info and pays for the order.
You get a notification about the new order.
Once you get an order from a customer:
you go to the wholesaler's/supplier's website,
you order exactly the same product,
you provide the client's details as the delivery address,
you pay for the product only now (that is, after you get payment from the client).
This way, you don't freeze your money and don't risk having unsold goods.
The wholesaler packs and sends the product directly to your client.
There's no receipt or invoice in the package (if you arranged it with the wholesaler).
You don't deal with logistics or packing.
As a seller, you’re responsible for contacting the customer:
you reply to questions you get by email,
you inform about the order status (or it happens automatically, for example via the “InPost parcel lockers” plugin),
you handle possible returns (more about this in a separate article about returns in e-commerce).
You make money on the difference between the selling price in your store and the purchase price from your supplier.
How does it look in practice?
A customer buys a product in your store for 150 zł.
You order the same product from the wholesaler for 100 zł.
Your profit is 50 zł – no warehouse, no packing, no upfront investment.
Where does the money go?
The customer pays for the order via payment gateway (Stripe).
The funds show up in your Stripe account, from which you can withdraw them to your bank account (payout time depends on Stripe settings – usually a few days).
Only then do you pay the wholesaler for the order from these funds, so you’re managing your cash in real time, with no risk of losing money.
Dropshipping with EcomFly is a simple way to sell without a warehouse or packing.
You add ready products from the panel to your store, the customer makes an order, you order it from the wholesaler, and they ship the goods straight to the customer.
The money goes to your Stripe account, so you can withdraw it—and only then do you pay for the product at the wholesaler.
You earn on the price difference, and the whole process runs fully online.
