Want your store to be available under your own domain (e.g. twojadomena.pl)? Check out the simple instructions below for adding DNS records at your domain registrar. For clarity, we show it using OVH as an example – for other providers, the field names might be a little different.
Go to the registrar’s panel where you bought your domain (example: OVH).
Go to your domain’s settings and open the DNS / DNS zone section.
We’ll walk you through these steps using the ovh.pl panel.
Go to DNS management. In this view you’ll add new records. How many fields there are and what they’re called might look different with each provider, but the idea stays the same.
Set all 4 new records to type A.
You need to create an A type record for the main domain, and then 3 A type records for the subdomains.
When adding the first record, set the main domain address:
(leave the field empty).twojadomena.pl
and also the target address value IP address 51.75.63.70
Next, create new records for subdomains:
www.twojadomena.pl
api.twojadomena.pl
cms.twojadomena.pl
setting the same target address for each of them IP 51.75.63.70
Below - an example of properly filled forms for creating the required records at the OVH provider.
For some domain providers, like OVH, instead of creating 4 records (one for each subdomain), you can just set up one record for the subdomain:
*.twojadomena.pl
The asterisk for most providers will cover the api and cms subdomains, and often www too.
But just make sure this way of setting up the subdomain works with your provider!
You can also create other types of records besides A records. If there's trouble and the instructions above aren't working, try creating an A record for the subdomain with an empty field, and for api, www, and cms - use CNAME records.
